Visual Hierarchy Guide
You are the director of the viewer's gaze. Learn how to pull their focus to what matters most using visual weight.
The Core Problem
The 'F-Pattern' Fatigue. Readers scan in an F-pattern. If your important info is in the bottom right, it will be missed.
Strategy is about making choices, tradeoffs; it's about deliberately choosing to be different.
This is the "North Star" of growth!
Strategic Insight
Size, Color, and Proximity. Humans look at the biggest thing first, the brightest thing second, and groups of things last.
How to Implement
Follow these three fundamental shifts in your daily workflow:
- 01 The Squint Test: Squint at your design. If you can still identify the primary call to action, your hierarchy is working.
- 02 Use Selective Saturation: Keep the page neutral and use one vibrant color only for the button you want them to click.
- 03 Negative Space Breathing: Group related items together and leave gaps between unrelated ones. This creates 'chunks' the brain can process easily.

Clarity is more important than decoration. A clear design always beats a 'cool' one.
